The National Weather Service reports a tornado touched down in Traverse County during the storms Sunday and early Monday but there was no major damage.
?? ?
Straight-line winds had gusts of around 75 miles an hour in Swift and Meeker counties.
?? ?
Meeker County Sheriff Jeff Norlin tells KLFD-AM 14 buildings had moderate to severe damage, with about 24 power line poles down. He says a school district's football bleachers were flipped.

Golf-ball sized hail and some 2-inches in diameter were reported in Le Sueur, Rice and Goodhue counties.

Officials along the Cannon and Little Cannon rivers are monitoring levels after last week's flooding. New flooding caused Highway 20 near Cannon Falls and Highway 50 near Miesville to be closed Monday morning.

In Welch, about four miles of County Road 7 is closed after the roadway was washed out.
