The Halifax Food and Drink Festival will return to the town this summer for the first time in its history as a free event!
Due to take place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June throughout various streets in the town centre, it is anticipated that a free festival will attract more exhibitors and visitors than ever before.
The Halifax Food and Drink Festival which is delivered by Marketing Halifax and is now in its fifth year, will showcase the very best culinary delights from Calderdale, the Yorkshire region and the rest of the UK. However, a strong focus will remain on local food producers and Calderdale?s finest restaurants in order to profile the strength of Calderdale?s food and drink sector regionally.
Free cookery workshops will take place again for both children and adults and there will also be lots of high-energy, fun-filled cooking action through the festival demonstrations, which are to be delivered by a range of local talented chefs.
